Marex Marine and Safety Services (MMASS) is the trading name of Marex Marine Services Limited.

Marex Marine and Safety Services support the activities of their clients by providing technical authorship, risk assessment and marine consultancy services.

In the area of technical authorship the company specialises in the compilation of Safety Cases for mobile units. In addition to the safety engineers essential for such work, marine, engineering, quality and safety management specialists are employed.

In support of the safety case itself the company has developed Verification Schemes, Emergency Response Manuals and PFEER Assessments.

MMASS carries out both qualitative and quantitative risk assessments in support of the safety case and for other purposes as may be required by the client. The processes used are intended to ensure that the results are meaningful and can be tailored to ensure workforce involvement should that be required. The company is constantly refining its programmes to improve presentation and participation.

The Company mariners have also been employed in marine project support, vessel audits and client representation. Training courses have also been developed for Logistics Support, Marine Operations and Safety Case familiarisation.
