Marex Heads to South Korea Following Contract Win

Marex Marine and Safety Services is heading off to South Korea after being awarded a contract by Pacific Drilling to carry out the safety case for the new build drillship currently being constructed in the country’s Samsung yard. Marex will also compile the emergency response manual, ship security plan and shipboard oil pollution emergency plan for the vessel, which is due for completion in September.
Marex, whose core business is safety case authorship now comprises a safety department and a marine department and, from its harbourside offices in Aberdeen, coordinates a network of marine safety and survey professionals across the world.
